Gale Ruby is a Toronto photographer who specializes in portraiture, event and equestrian photography.
Born and raised in Southern California, she also lived in New York for many years, where she studied comparative literature at New York University. Gale then taught literature, writing, and the humanities, also at NYU.
After moving to Toronto, her aesthetic attention turned to photography. Immediately upon discovering her passion for this art form, she began taking courses as well as studying privately.
Gale's love for photography is greatly inspired by photography's ability to help her celebrate--and share with others--the uniqueness of the individuals she photographs.
